Misery’s Company

THE DAY

Spent writing, but it sure went fast and I somehow feel as if I’ve nothing to show for it.  That’s not true in a literal sense.  There are words, though they’ll probably all die tomorrow, and I see where the story should go.

But it IS a darned hard process.

Something else interesting today: heard from a bunch of the Egmont Last Listers.  People just sort of checking in a year later, that sort of thing.  What WAS interesting was to read from a few folks that they’re having the same troubles/crises of confidence I am.  So I guess that’s good that I’m not alone.  OTOH, one is looking into starting a clothing/designer line or something.  But it’s not as if any of us are doing GREAT.  We’re all struggling.

Me, too.

I can tell you: in this instance, misery does not love company.
