THE DAY<\/p>\n
This has been one of those days when you don’t know if what you’ve just done is good or bad. \u00a0Maybe this is what comes of writing into the dark, but the narrative took another unexpected twist, principally because the POV character I struggled over yesterday finally came into focus today. \u00a0(Yes, it was a BAD writing day yesterday, though the husband–bless him–did say that thinking is never bad and probably important when it comes to little things like, oh, plotting.) \u00a0I knew that sleeping on the kid would be the right move. \u00a0What I didn’t expect was that his story would push another character in a different direction. \u00a0This really doesn’t . . . well, affect him all that much. I mean, what happens to him will happen…but it will change the aftermath from what I’d thought.<\/p>\n
So…heck.<\/p>\n

\nGosh, nothing. \u00a0I’m between books, aren’t I? \u00a0Chucked\u00a0Firestarter<\/em>? \u00a0Yeah, it’s only been a day or so, and I can’t remember. \u00a0Oh, right…I was going to find a murder mystery or something. \u00a0Well, I haven’t found it yet. \u00a0I will.

\nWhat I’m Watching:
\nAs above; it’s pretty good. \u00a0I’m also one episode away from the end of Season 6 WHO. \u00a0I don’t know if I’ll continue. \u00a0To be frank, the story is … thin. \u00a0I like Matt Smith; he’s fine, but the writing’s uneven and there just isn’t the depth I’ve come to like in a TV show. \u00a0As a friend said, this is essentially a kid’s show dressed up for adults, and I think that’s right. \u00a0But we’ll see.

\nI managed about five seconds of the RNC and then wondered why I bothered. \u00a0There is nothing any of these people can say that won’t set my teeth. \u00a0That being said, there is also no reason for me to listen in to the DNC, though I wouldn’t mind if Bill and Obama speak. \u00a0Hillary, I don’t care; I’m voting for her anyway. \u00a0But these other guys might be interesting.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
