ASHES: The U.S. Tour

As promised, here is the schedule for the first two weeks of my upcoming US tour for ASHES. Bunch of places, and that’s not even counting the school visits.  I’m particularly jazzed to see my old stomping grounds at Lackland Air Force Base and on Graduation Day, no less!

If new events pop up, I’ll certainly include those, too. In addition, if you’re following me on Twitter or Facebook and just happen to be in the neighborhood when I’m around, check for details on how to win some nifty little extras.

Hope to see a lot of you on the road! Spread the word, too, okay?

  1. Anything in California? *hopes*

(Also, am I being a pest by posting here? I never got into the whole Facebook/Twitter thing >.<)

  2. No, unfortunately, nothing in CA. I’ll be in Seattle, but that’s about it for the West Coast. Sorry
And, no, you’re not being a pest. No one visits my blog, so this gives me the illusion that there are people actually out there who might care. You know, kind of like the Julie character in Julie, Julia. 😉

  3. I care! I’ve been a semi-regular lurker here for some time now – wandered away for a bit between books and came back looking for info on a Star Trek comic (love all your work, but for Well of Souls – you’re a hero to me) – and now I check back at least once a week. You’re stuck with me. Though I’m very glad you’re not offended by my commenting – it’d be difficult to go back to lurking. O.o

Anyway, Seattle. Probably not this time around, unfortunately. 🙁
Looks like an awesome tour, and I hope that legions of fans show up.

  4. You’re going to be in Seattle? Hooray! I’m only about an hour and a half north of there! Do you know when?

  5. I hope I will be able to come! I may not be able to, because that is a Monday and I’m a student teacher. I really hope I can though! I’m guessing you’ll either be at UW Bookstore or Third Place Books?

  6. School absolutely comes first! However, if the timing works, I’ll deifnitely make the trip down.

I’ll keep an eye out for the tour details. Thanks!

  7. Ilsa, Milwaukee is calling for you to stop by and give us a visit. You and Patrick Rothfuss make us Wisconsin people proud.

  8. You recetly came to my school to present your book Ashes. I was invited to go, but couldn’t, and I just wanted to let you know that you are an awesome writer, and I can’t wait to read Ashes! I’m going to borrow the book from my sister, who was at the visit, and got a copy of the book. Thank you!!!

  9. Well, thank you, Max! Bummer that you didn’t get to come, but maybe next time? What school do you go to?
Anyway, I hope you like the book. Thanks again, too: it’s always nice to hear from people.

  10. Sorry I posted so late!!! Time differences… I don’t like them… anyway, I really wanted to go! I don’t want to give out my info… but my school is in Arizona. I tried to read Ashes today, but my friends kept making me laugh, so I couldn’t consentrate… I’ll start reading it tonight!

  11. No worries, Max. I LOVED visiting your school. LOVED it. You guys were so enthusiastic and it was so totally fun to hear what you guys thought . . . it was a perfect way to launch the book. I mean that. I hope I get to come back, too.

    Enjoy the book. If you don’t . . . don’t tell me 😉
